A RESTAURANT in Woburn has been awarded with one of the highest honours in the industry, earning a prestigious Michelin Star.
Paris House was taken over in December 2009 and re-opened two months later by the ‘10 in 8 Fine Dining Group’ Executive Chef Alan Murchison and Head Chef, Phil Fanning. Their star is one of five given outside London in 2011.
Mr Murchison said: “It’s been a nerve racking morning for us all but I am absolutely thrilled for Phil and the team as this award recognises all the hard work they have put in during the past year.”
Richard Pursey, chairman of the group, said “We are bowled over by the news and are delighted for Phil Fanning and the whole team.
“This award is testimony to the talent and hard work of the youngsters we are developing within the business and aiming to establish in the industry.”
