Celebrate May Day with The Parks Trust’s annual fair, being held canalside in Campbell Park this Saturday.
It’s a fine example of one of those ‘fun for all the family events,’ and will roll between midday and 5pm.
Admission is free and dancing around the maypole is a given. It’s traditional.
> On Bank Holiday Monday, Sno!zone MK is holding a celebration for the launch of the new Star Wars movie.
You’ll be able to settle back and watch all of those old classics on the big screen and if you want to take things that bit further, why not dress as your favourite character – this is your chance to go all out Chewbacca, or get busy with the buns like Princess Leia would.
The novelty event will be raising cash for Sense, the charity for deaf blind children.
In the afternoon, Darth Vader and some of his Stormtroopers will be in the Sno Lounge from 1.30pm, meeting, greeting and quite probably doing lots of deep breathing.
Don’t upset him!
Why hold it on Bank Holiday Monday?
So that you can say May the 4th be with you, of course.
