The cast of 9 To 5 stepped away out of the office and into Milton Keynes Theatre this lunchtime to give a fantastic sneak preview of the musical which comes to town for a weeklong stay imminently.

The show is based on the hit movie and centres on three office workers (played by Natalie Casey, Amy Lennox and Jackie Clune) who turn the tables on their lying, egotistical boss – a role taken by former Brookside and Holby City actor Mark Moraghan.

The only person in the show who has a softspot for her boss is Roz Keith, played by stage star Bonnie Langford.

9 To 5 wowed Broadway in recent years, and is guaranteed to be every bit the hit on this side of the pond too, and it comes complete with a musical score entirely by Dolly Parton.

“Dolly has written all the songs fresh for the show, and they aren’t all country, there are all different genres,” Bonnie told Go!

“She is an extremely talented singer and songwriter, a survivor who has maintained her integrity and a canny businesswoman too!”
