ROYAL fever is sweeping Milton Keynes as a series of street parties have been planned across the city.
Thirty four gatherings have been organised to mark Prince William’s marriage to Kate Middleton tomorrow.
n In Stony Stratford, the High Street is decorated with red, white and blue bunting and Union Flags.
n Wood Street in Woburn Sands has also put up celebration bunting.
n Parent Angela Keeley is bringing fancy dress for St Mary’s Primary pupils in Wavendon to wear from her new business The Vintage Style Company.
n Mary Lindsay from Giffard Park has helped organised a party in Bromham Mill.
n Frankston Avenue in Stony Stratford will be putting up 1,200 flags and planning a street party to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Care.
n In Wolverton, people will be celebrating at the Community Orchard, with a fancy dress contest for the best ‘married’ couple.
n The bells will ring out across Newport Pagnell with bell-ringers from the parish church watching on TV and beginning their service when William and Kate leave Westminster Abbey.
