Event at Stony Stratford is casualty of pandemic
Due to the pandemic, the event surrounding the Christmas lights switch-on this year has been cancelled.
According to the CLASS (Christmas Lights at Stony Stratford) Committee, there will still be a minimal display of Christmas lights - but the switch-on fun day, street market fun fair, WatlingFest, the switch-on itself and the lantern parade will not take place.
CLASS is still encouraging people to come into the town and enjoy the lights through December and is hoping to organise a lantern-making experience.
