The fire is in the roof space of the hotel and the fire service was called at 3.23pm.
An ambulance has also been called because a woman is suffering from smoke inhalation.
Firefighters are using two hose reels, one set of breathing apparatus, a turntable ladder and a thermal imaging camera.
