Hide AdWelfare team leaders have the role of coordinating and supporting volunteer cat fosterers, providing advice and guidance when needed, and allowing the branch to help more cats and kittens in need.
The branch relies on public donations, so the fundraising team leader role is an essential one during the current pandemic. They will be involved in organising virtual fundraising events and supporting a team of volunteer fundraisers.
The branch is currently running a Hands-Free Homing scheme so cats can still be adopted within Covid-19 restrictions. Since launching Hands-Free Homing, Cats Protection has rehomed 5,000 cats across the UK.
As well as finding new homes for unwanted and abandoned cats, Cats Protection also offers cat care advice to the public and can help towards the cost of neutering.
