Indie rock band Pigeon Detectives took to the stadium:mk pitch on Saturday to perform the track they hope will be named the FA Cup anthem.

The lads from Leeds performed their single ‘Animal’ before MK Dons’ 3-1 defeat to Barnsley.

Frontman Matt Bowman said: “It’s every schoolboy’s dream to play in the FA Cup.

“Winning the competition and being behind the official FA Cup Anthem would be something we would all be really proud of. Although not as proud as our dads would be – they all wish we were footballers really.”
