PJ Care hold disabilities open day

A CARE centre which offers a range of services for disabled adults held an open day last Monday.

PJ Care’s Day Opportunities Centre, based in Bletchley, welcomed more than 40 people to the event which included a a rousing performance from The Local Community Voices Choir, activities including ball games, hand therapy, arts and crafts sessions and a fly fishing demonstration, and a visit from Milton Keynes Rugby Union Football Club.

Centre manager, Sue Bowering, said: “The open day was a good example of the activities we can offer and we hope to welcome back regular and new clients and their families very soon.”

PJ Care opened in October 2011 and offers a range of activities including healthy living advice, personal care sessions, therapy sessions and social interaction for 18-65 years olds
