Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help in finding a 20-year-old man reported as missing.

Jamie Girdlestone was last seen leaving a relative’s home in Arncliffe Drive, Heelands, at 1.30pm on Friday. He was reported as missing to police the same day and concern for his welfare is growing.

Jamie made contact with a relative by phone the same day he went missing to say he had disembarked a train at Tring railway station in Hertfordshire.

Jamie also has connections to the Hampshire and London areas.

He is white, about 5ft 4ins, of stocky build with dark brown short hair and a spotty complexion. He is believed to have been wearing a grey hooded top, light coloured jeans with knitted cuffs at the bottom and grey Ralph Lauren trainers with a broad white sole. He was carrying a dark canvas drawstring bag.

Police are urging Jamie to make contact with his family or police officers to let them know he is safe and well, as this is the main concern.

Alternatively, if you have seen Jamie, or have information as to his whereabouts, please call Thames Valley Police’s 24-hour Enquiry Centre on 101 as soon as possible.
