Police hunt for three men who sank teeth into victim

A MAN was bitten as he was robbed by three men in Neath Hill.

The incident happened at 5.45pm last Wednesday when the victim, aged 23, withdrew some money from a cash point at the Co-op on Neath Hill when he was approached by three men, asking him to get some alcohol for them – the victim refused.

They followed the victim and, as he got on the Redway near Leopard Drive they tried to punch him in the head, then threw him to the floor, before searching his bag, taking his money and tobacco before running off.

The victim suffered scratches but did not require medical treatment.

The offenders are described as about 16 years old and white. One of them is 5ft 9ins, medium build, another was skinny build, 5ft 11ins, longish curly light brown hair and was wearing black or brown hood with white or off white horizontal stripes and dark jeans. The victim cannot give any description of the third offender.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
