Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a 17-year-old girl was raped after meeting a man at a house party in Monkston on Saturday night.

Police were called at 11.10pm to reports a girl had been raped at about 10.50pm. The victim had been at a birthday party at a house in Welbeck Close, where she was chatting to an unknown man.

She went outside the property with him, where he pushed her into a dark coloured estate car and took her a short distance where he raped her.

The victim found help from a couple who are believed to be local. They assisted her in getting home. Police officers would like to speak to this couple whose details are not known at this time.

The offender is black, in his late 20s, around 5ft 6in to 5ft 7in tall, muscular, with short, dark, straight hair. He was wearing a navy blue T-shirt, dark jeans and a black watch with a large face.

Det Insp Dave Dachtler, investigating the incident, said: “The victim has obviously been left traumatised and extremely distraught by the incident.

“There were a number of people at the party and it seems some of them may have travelled from London to attend.

“I would urge anyone who was at the party and has not yet spoken to police, or who saw a dark coloured estate car in the area on Saturday night, to contact Thames Valley police and quote URN 1792 24/8.”
