Police issue appeal after assault at fast food restaurant in Milton Keynes

CCTV images have been released by police following an assault in Milton Keynes.

At around 4.15am on Sunday, October 9 , the victim, a woman aged 20, was in McDonald’s at the Xscape leisure complex, when an unknown man hit her in the face causing her nose to bleed.

The victim had been talking with a friend at the counter of the restaurant when another unknown woman, who was with the offender, began shouting at the victim. The woman and offender were ejected from the restaurant by door staff, but the offender re-entered the restaurant and hit the victim in the face.

PC Lucy Bottomley would like to speak to the people in the CCTV images as it is believed they may have information which can assist with the police investigation.

“This was an unprovoked attack and was very distressing for the victim.

“I would urge anyone who recognises any of the people in the CCTV images to come forward and talk to police on the non-emergency number 101,” she said.
