Police launch witness appeal after M1 fatal collision

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to the fatal collision on the M1 yesterday.

The collision happened around 5am on the southbound carriageway between junctions 14 – 13.

A 33-year old man who was driving a white Ford Transit van and his passenger, a 44-year-old man, died at the scene after their vehicle was involved in a collision with a white Iveco lorry carrying a blue trailer. Both men are from London.

Anyone with any information about this incident should contact either Sergeant Scott Long or PC Alan Turnbull, of the Thames Valley Police Roads Policing Department, via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
