Police release CCTV after betting shop robbery

A man is being sought by police in connection with a robbery at a betting shop in Bletchley for which he was caught on CCTV.

The pictures were taken inside the Betfred store in Queensway at about 9.50pm on June 4, when a man came in and forced a member of staff to open a safe.

He then stole a quantity of cash and ran out of the store.

He was slim and about 5ft 11ins with his face covered and was wearing a dark grey hooded top with a black jacket underneath and blue jeans. He was also carrying a dark coloured bag.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Leanne Shepherd, said: “There is a Barclays bank branch next door so people were pulling up outside to use the cash machine and there were pedestrians in the area.”
