An E-fit of a man police would like to speak to in connection with a sexual assault in Great Linford has been released.

A 25-year-old woman was walking along a footpath next to Great Linford Combined School at 5.39am on July 28, when she was approached by an unknown man from behind.

He pushed her over and sexually assaulted her before the woman kicked the man and he ran away towards Grangers End Road. Police searched the area but could not find the man.

He is described as white, aged between 31 and 35-year-old, about 6ft, of normal build, with a full beard and short hair. He was wearing a dark-coloured, hooded top and white trainers.

Detective Sergeant Phil Walsh said: “I would be keen to speak to anyone who recognises this man or who may have seen him in the area around this time.

“We have detectives investigating this matter and extra patrols are in place to provide a high visibility presence for the local community.

“If anyone has any information at all in regards to this matter, I would urge them to contact us as soon as possible.”

Witnesses can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
