Post-mortem findings into death of Ashley Gillard are ‘inconclusive’

A post-mortem examination into the death of Ashley Gillard in Wolverton is inconclusive.

The body of Mr Gillard, 31, was found following a fire in Trevithick Court on Monday night.

A pathologist at Milton Keynes General Hospital concluded the cause of death was inconclusive and further tests will need to be carried out.

Formal identification of the man is yet to take place, however the victim is believed to be Mr Gillard.

Enquiries by Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit are continuing.
