Prickly cuties and conker fun at Parks Trust events

The Parks Trust are inviting you to step up and help Wildlife this Saturday (Oct 24) with its Make a Difference Day.

This is your opportunity to be a part of the UKs largest volunteering event.

The local angle of the nationwide force is happening at Stony Stratford Nature Reserve.

Call MK 233600 and get involved. Satisfaction guaranteed.

If like us, you sometimes feel you are going conkers, then you will want to reach for the string and go have a play this coming Monday (Oct 26).

The bid to find the city's hardest swinger is happening at Linford Wood on Monday.

The conker conquering will begin at 10.30am. Taking part is only a quid, but you will need to pre-book.

Now to some prickly, but absolutely adorable characters.

Hedgehogs are cute if not so much cuddly, but how much do you really know about them?

On Tuesday (Oct 27), The Parks Trust is offering you the chance to increase your knowledge of the slug-munchers when it hosts a special hedgehog day.

The event at Howe Park Wood will run for two hours from 10.30am and a three pound charge applies to participants.

Look to the skies on Wednesday night (Oct 28) and try your hand at being a star gazer.

Waterhall Park is the location for the twinkly fun which will run between 6 and 8pm.

Pre-booking is essential for all of these Park Trust led events, on MK 255379.
