A water sports centre that caters for disabled children has re-opened.
Caldecotte Xperience Water Sports Centre is a not-for-profit outdoor education facility which aims to increase the number of young people participating in sports, allowing them to develop their skills, spend time away from their homes or school, and become increasingly independent.
It is run by charity Action4Youth for children from across the county, and was re-opened by Mayor of Milton Keynes Subhan Shafiq, and Milton Keynes South MP Iain Stewart.
Action4Youth chairman Ken Birkby said:“The Caldecotte Xperience centre makes a positive difference to children’s lives on a daily basis.
“We can now continue to provide for young people’s sporting needs, encouraging them to respond to both personal and team challenges and gain vital life experiences.”
