A restaurant in Milton Keynes is appealing for a customer to come forward to claim an expensive piece of ladies jewellery, which was found in the restaurant after the busy Christmas period.

After one of the busiest Christmas and New Year periods The Silk Road Restaurant has seen, a deep clean uncovered a diamond solitaire twist ladies ring, handed to management by one of the trustworthy cleaners. With the jewellery not being claimed for over a week the restaurant is having a last attempt to appeal for the owner to come forward.

A family jeweller has estimated that the piece has a value of over £3,000 and suspects that it may be an engagement ring. If the ring is not claimed by the end of the month the restaurant will donate it to a local charity of their choice.

Restaurant Manager, Abdul Samad said “We are urging all customers who visited The Silk Road Restaurant over the Christmas period to check to see if they have lost this valuable piece of jewellery. We would like to thank the member of staff who honestly handed this in.”
