To mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Calcutta Brasserie has launched what can only be described as its most stunning signature dish to date.
The appropriately named ‘Maharani Machli’ (The Queen’s Seafood) will cost £100 per customer due to the lavish ingredients, which include; the finest whole Canadian Lobster, Caviar, Saffron and a Gold leaf salad.
The delectable dish will be especially made to order by multi-award winning Head Chef, Saj Khan and available throughout the Jubilee Bank Holiday from Saturday 2nd to Monday 5th June. In order to ensure the freshest possible ingredients are sourced, guests will be required to pre-order the dish 48 hours before dining.
Mo Abdul, proprietor of Calcutta Brasserie, said “We wanted to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in a way unique to us. We set about creating the dish using only the finest ingredients and are all extremely proud of what we’ve achieved. This is a one off and is absolutely fit for a queen or king.”
