Students at St Paul’s Catholic School are celebrating A level success with 72 per cent achieving grades A* - C, and 40 per cent gaining A* - B.
The results for BTEC National Vocational courses were strong too, with 60% of students gaining a Distinction or Distinction*.
Michael Manley, Head Teacher at St Paul’s Catholic School, said: “The School offers a wide range of courses so our students have achieved well across many subjects.
“We’re very proud that the progress made by A-Level students puts St Paul’s in the top 10 per cents of schools in the country.”
As a result of their achievements, St Paul’s students will be going on to study at universities around the UK including Oxford, Warwick, Liverpool, Imperial College London and York.
Michael added: “An increasing number of students chose to do Extended Projects alongside their A levels, which will further help them to prepare for university life.
“Our students have worked extremely hard and we congratulate them all on their dedication. We’d also like to thank parents for their support at this time.”
