Horse riding charity Ride High is holding a Black Magic Ball with the aim of raising £50,000 for disadvantaged children in the city.
The evening of ‘magic and mysticism’ will take place on Friday, November 15 at Jurys Inn, Central Milton Keynes, and will be the charity’s fourth annual fundraising ball.
The post-dinner activities will include a performance by international band, iPop, as well as games of skill and guesswork, caricaturists and a ‘restaurant tree’.
Ride High founder Rachel Medill said: “Thanks to the donors of the prizes, and our generous guests, we raised more than £40,000 last year which is around a quarter of our annual running expenses.
“This meant we have been able to help between 60 and 70 of the most desperate children in Milton Keynes every week.
“We know this year will be glitzier and better than ever before.”
The silent and live auctions include a week in a luxury villa in Jamaica for eight people, as well as a week in South Africa.
