Further roadworks announced today are set to disrupt drivers until October.
Starting on August 26, resurfacing work will be carried out on ten roads across Milton Keynes between 9.30am and 4.30pm - taking up to four working days at a time.
This means roads will be closed with diversion routes set up where necessary.
Cllr Matt Clifton, Cabinet member responsible for Transport Strategy, said: “We need to carry out this resurfacing work and we will of course try and keep disruption to a minimum, but we would ask drivers to be patient, as in the long run, they will benefit from better road conditions.”
The council’s highways contractor Ringway have warned that the dates outlined for works could change depending on weather and other “unforeseen circumstances”.
Information boards on the roadside will give an indication of any changes to the start or finish dates for each scheme.
