Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a robbery in Milton Keynes in the early hours of Thursday (11/08).

A lorry was parked up on the roadside on Burners Lane, Kiln Farm, between 2am and 4am. When the driver left his cab, he was attacked by four men, who then stole 96 34in flat screen televisions. A white van thought to belong to the offenders was parked behind the lorry.

The lorry driver received minor injuries but was released after hospital treatment.

Det Con Sarah Hunt, from Milton Keynes police station, said: “We’re keen to identify any witnesses to this incident. We believe a car drove past at the time but no details are known of the driver who may have seen something significant.”

Anyone with information should contact Det Con Hunt via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively, you can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
