It may still be three months away, but Frosts Garden Centre has released Santa’s Grotto tickets earlier than ever – and Christmas Eve has already sold out.
After being released on Friday, tickets for Wednesday 24 December sold out in just one hour as families looked ahead to the festive season.
The hugely popular 40-minute grotto experience includes making reindeer mix, a festive story, presents and each child meets Father Christmas.
James Frost, managing director at Frosts, said: “This is the earliest we have ever released tickets for the grotto but because it is so popular we wanted to give customers the chance to book early.
“We are overwhelmed by the response so far, there are still many slots available but I would advise people to go online now and book if they have a preferred day and time.”
Frosts’ Christmas Grotto received an award last year for the Best Grotto amongst the garden retail industry and it has become the favoured grotto in Milton Keynes due to the authenticity of its characters and generous prizes and activity.
Frosts has also announced that its annual Santa’s arrival will be taking place on Saturday, November 15 at the later time of 4pm.
The event attracts hundreds of families that watch Santa arrive with his elves to then take residence in the Garden Centre.
Although the Garden Centre has created 1250 places a day to meet Santa, the team are urging people - based on the weekend’s online activity - to book early to avoid disappointment.
