A terrific trick or treat event took place at intu Milton Keynes on Saturday with more than 1,000 little ghosts and ghouls visiting the shopping centre to collect their treats.
intu Milton Keynes hosted the free, fun-for-all trick or treat spook-tacular throughout the day on Saturday 31 October, with parents flocking to the centre with their little monsters in full costume.
Many of the stores took part, including Dune, New Look, Charles Clinkard, Whitewall Galleries and Lush; all displayed beautifully carved pumpkins in their windows so that mini witches and warlocks knew where to go, and many dressed up ready to hand out sweets.
intu Milton Keynes gave away free mini pumpkins and then trick-or-treat-ers had to go hunting for the carved pumpkins around the centre. “Every single pumpkin bucket went on Saturday and we gave away hundreds of sweets,” said general manager at intu Milton Keynes, Shelley Peppard.
“We had so many little ones visiting us in their costumes – they all looked fantastic and very scary. Our shoppers have really enjoyed having decorations around the centre and the spooky makeover of the frog clock has been really well received.”
The Halloween event followed a half term week filled with craft activities, colouring, games and more, in partnership with the new ‘Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie’ which took place across all intu shopping centres.
