A fundraising day organised by a 12-year-old budding Alan Sugar is set to be a sensational success on Saturday.
Louis Davey, who is 12, has masterminded The Big Day Out almost single-handedly.
He persuaded the Parks Trust to give him one of the city’s best venues – Campbell Park – and has lined up a top performers to entertain.
City superstar Bailey McConnell will perform, as well as local band The Shures and Bristol-based Jethro Sheeron.
Together with city events managers Real Music MK, Louis has organised a full line up of entertainment throughout the day on the main stage.
The Stantonbury Campus schoolboy is appealing for as many families as possible to go along and help him raise his target of thousands of pounds for Willen Hospice.
There will be rides for the children, courtesy of Keith Emmett and Sons fairground company, as well as workshops from Paramount Parkour.
MKCA cheerleaders will perform and there will also stalls galore and refreshments.
Louis spent months pitching his ideas to obtain sponsorship from Marshall’s Amplification, Airports Direct, Stantonbury Campus and Button pre-school.
