Service resumes after train derailment

Commuters faced delays this morning after the derailment of a freight train close to Bletchley station. However, in the last half an hour lines have been re-opened and a normal service has been resumed on all lines.

The call was logged shortly before 4am and a number of trains were cancelled this morning. The lines were re-opened shortly after 9am following safety checks by inspectors.
