Sexual assault in Newport Pagnell: Police appeal for witnesses

A woman was sexually assaulted by a man in Newport Pagnell on Friday night.

The 34-year-old was walking along Cross Street at around 9.35pm when she was approached by a man who sexually assaulted her before running away down Caldecote Street.

The offender was white and about 25-years-old. He was wearing a distinctive Superdry jacket.

Investigating officer PC Pete Green said: “We are appealing for anyone who either witnessed the assault, or saw a man matching this description running down Caldecote Street.

“This assault left the victim very shaken and so if you think you have any information which could help, please contact us immediately.”
