Councillor Zoe Nolan said: “I am not surprised Petworth House has won this award as I know it well and it is a sheltered housing scheme which is very popular with its residents. I am very glad it has been recognised.”

Cllr Nigel Long added: “We are delighted that again two of our high quality sheltered housing schemes have achieved national recognition.

“It highlights again our very strong commitment to supporting the older residents of Milton Keynes.

“I would also like to thank the wardens service and the many other staff who support schemes and residents with care and support. I am proud of them.”
