A duo are set to pass stadiummk in May as part of their challenge to walk six marathons in six days to raise money for a children’s cancer charity.
Ollie Warne and Mark Dyson will begin their 180 mile journey at Barnsley FC on May 5 before visiting ten other clubs, including Sheffield FC, the oldest football club in the world.
Four days later the pair will pass through Milton Keynes, the city where the plan started to come together five years ago, and they will end up at Fulham FC on May 11 in time for the final Premier League game of the season.
This is to raise money for The Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund which aims to change the lives of children battling leukaemia.
Mr Dyson said: “We really want to raise awareness for the charity because it is one of the smaller, lesser know charities. “So far we’ve visited 90 of the 92 Football League clubs and we will complete the set when we get to Fulham on May 11.
“We just feel we want to give something back to the community and even though it’ll be a tough test, it’s something we’re looking forward to.”
