A promising young ski star , sponsored by SNO!zone Milton Keynes has reached third place in the BARSC championships in Italy.

Sarah Glasgow, 10, from Buckingham, fought off fierce competition in the girls’ category to take the top three spot.

The talented youngster gained a sponsorship deal with the indoor real snow centre after showing real potential on the slopes.

Brendan Mckenna, the coordinator of the sponsored rider programme at SNO!zone, said: “Our sponsorship programme aims to help young snow sports stars to reach their full potential and Sarah is a shining example of what can be achieved at such a young age.

“With further support I’ve no doubt that she’ll go on to have even greater success in the future.”

After starting to ski at just three years old, Sarah has ambitions to make Great Britain’s children’s team.

SNO!zone sponsors more than 60 of Britain’s most promising young snowboarders and skiers, allowing them to prepare for competitions on real snow at its centres in Braehead, Castleford, near Leeds, and Milton Keynes.
