THE managing director of Milton Keynes based Franklite Ltd has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Lighting Association

Peter Hunt, CEO of the Lighting Association, said: “Frank Lissauer was a popular choice for this award, not only for his long service in the industry, but for his unwavering support for the decorative lighting industry as a whole”.

Frank, pictured right, set up Franklite in January 1973 and today the Milton Keynes company has a well deserved reputation for quality of product and service.

After nearly 40 years in the industry, Frank is the longest serving director on the Lighting Association Council of Management.

This award was given following a vote by fellow members of the Association which makes it particularly special to Frank as his work within the industry, and with the Lighting Association, is done out of a genuine passion for lighting.

This token of recognition was a total surprise to him and one of which he is justly proud.

Franklite now has an outlet shop on Winterhill which allows the public to buy Franklite quality products, which are seconds or discontinued ranges, at much reduced prices.
