The Prince of Wales was a welcome addition to the historic rugby match held in Milton Keynes last night.
After France beat Canada in the first Rugby World Cup fixture at stadium:mk, Prince Harry thanked the volunteers for giving up their time to beat part of the historic event.
“He was very tall,” said one steward.
“I didn’t realise how tall he was.
“I said ‘hello, how are you?’ to him and he smiled at me. Then when he left he thanked me and the others.”
Prince Harry watched the match from a box in stadium:mk alongside 28,145 fans.
