Milton Keynes Council is pleased to announce that Phase 1 of the redevelopment of Station Square is on schedule and is now completed.

This means that works Phase 1A will be able to start in January 2012 which will involve construction work on the areas directly outside the station which will be completed in March 2012.

The new Phase of construction work will require changes to the Traffic Management layout at the Square which will be as follows:

Entrance for all vehicles via the Eldar House side access road; Vehicles will then circulate around the newly constructed bus islands to their designated area;

Exit will be via the Phoenix House side access road.

All parking and waiting areas will be clearly marked, signed and covered by a Temporary Traffic Order.

Milton Keynes Council will also be employing a Traffic Marshall to be available at Station Square between the hours of 7am and 7pm to assist with the traffic changes and management of vehicles throughout the area.

This officer will not be there to issue tickets.

Milton Keynes Council would like to thank Station Square users for their ongoing patience and compliance whilst these improvements take place and apologise for any inconvenience caused during this period.
