TWO brave men are taking on the Crumball Rally challenge in memory of their friend, and to raise vital funds for Willen Hospice.

Steve Jarrett and Scott Pettitt have taken on the challenge of the ‘Crumball Rally’ 2012 in memory of Dave Richman who sadly lost his battle with cancer earlier this year.

They are raising money for Willen Hospice who do an unbelievable amount of invaluable work supporting people who are suffering with terminal cancer and are no longer responding to treatment and their families.

On Thursday May 10 at 9am they will set of from Boulogne and drive 430 miles down to Colmar.

After a good night’s rest day 2 of the event and the second leg will see the rallier’s travel 230 miles from Colmar to Lake Como in Italy.

On the final day of the rally the boys will be travelling 260 miles from Lake Como to Monte Carlo.

In order for the boys to complete this challenge they have purchased a lovely old BMW 5 Series and each day they will be given themed challenges just to make sure they aren’t finding it all too easy and there are several prizes organised by Crumball to be won, including a ‘handcrafted’ trophy, that, knowing the competitiveness of these guys, they will be desperate to get their hands on!

The duo are now looking for as many people as possible to donate £100 to this very deserving cause and in return they are sending the car off to be fully rallied up and wrapped with as many of people’s logos and images as possible.

Cheques will need to be made payable to Willen Hospice Ventures LTD and either, sent to the two directly, or they can pick them up, so that they can be sent on to the guys at the hospice in one go.

This also means they can keep a good record of how much money they have raised and make sure people receive the recognition they deserve, with their logo wrapped on to the car and a certificate of sponsorship!

For those of you who are unable to contribute £100 there is a JustGiving page set up, which allows people to donate any amount of money, no matter how small. The link to the page is https://www.justgiving.com/SteveandScott.

Steve and Scott will be updating all of their supporters along the way with a twitter log (https://twitter.com/mtwasterally), YouTube videos and lots of photo’s to keep people informed and entertained on their very exciting journey.
