Stilt walkers dressed in gold lamé bird costumes will tower above the crowds at centre:mk’s Easter Food Festival.
Festive Road’s Extreme Ramblers are guaranteed a bird’s eye view of the festival, between April 11-13.
The Easter Food Festival includes food demonstrations across two stages at the centre:mk’s Middleton Hall from TV chefs Richard Fox and Clover Hutson. It also includes a children’s food lab where youngsters will be creating edible slime, fizzy cocktails and milk kaleidoscopes.
It’s also an opportunity to showcase some of the best locally produced food.
For Festive Road’s Extreme Ramblers it will be a chance to take part in what’s expected to be one of biggest events of the year, so far, at the centre:mk.
Jessica Rost is the artistic director of Festive Road and is currently planning this year’s Walking With Giants parade Sunday, July 20.
Jessica said: “We’re really looking forward to coming along to the food festival on Sunday, April 13. There’s going to be a lot going on, so we’re expecting big crowds. If anyone sees some large gold-coloured birds in and around the centre, don’t be alarmed they’re our Extreme Ramblers and they’re lots of fun!”
