Stony Stratford was a gold award trophy winner in this year’s Britain in Bloom competition, which included a number of other successes for Milton Keynes.
The Thames and Chilterns in Bloom regional award presentation took place at The Minster Church of St Mary the Virgin in Reading this week.
Stony Stratford won the award in the small town category, while its primary school, Russell Street, was praised for its community involvement.
Wolverton and Greenleys was a silver award trophy winner, with the Slated Row School commended, while White Spire School was a specialised school winner.
A Thames and Chilterns in Bloom special award for outstanding commitment to the community went to Denise Ilett of Wolverton and Greenleys.
And the Open University won the regional award for best park.
