NAVIGATING the rules of road safety is easier for children at Stoke Goldington CE First School now they have some new play equipment.
The youngsters were quick to put the pieces to good use.
They eagerly set up a new collection of road signs and traffic cones around the school playground before carefully making their way around the route.
Bought to encourage pupils to learn more about road safety, the brilliant new equipment was purchased through fundraising by The Friends of the Stoke Goldington CE First School.
The Friends group comprises all the parents from the school who regularly raise money for equipment, minibus hire and refreshments for school events.
Headteacher Kathryn Crompton said: “Our close partnership between parents and school provides a family ethos which makes our small village school so exceptional.”
