Five college students are helping bring MK’s 50-year-old history to life – through a cow called Florence.

The life-size model was purchased by professional services giants PwC through the Herd About MK sponsorship scheme.

Fifty local businesses are decorating their cows for the ‘cow parade’ unveiling at Middleton Hall tonight (Thursday).

Orsolya Kiss, Alice Acquaye, Savela Glinel, Lea Earl and Rebecca Springall are all studying art at MK College.

They used facts and symbols – ranging from Marshall Amplification to Superman – painted on the cow to portray the city’s history.

Ruby Parmar, PwC’s senior partner in MK, said: “We’re delighted to involve the college in our celebrations of MK at 50.
“PwC has been in Milton Keynes for over 20 years and we are proud of our links with the local community. We are committed to supporting the next generation of talent in the town.”
