Firefighters were called to a suspected arson in a play park last Thursday.
The fire was started at the rear of a park in Moorfoot, Fullers Slade at around 7.30pm
A bag of rubbish was set alight before being left on a piece of play equipment, which was ‘thankfully’ not damaged.
A spokesperson at Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, said: “We are appealing to people not to start deliberate fires as they place a quite unnecessary strain on emergency service resources, can spoil local facilities and amenities, are thoroughly anti-social and can blight a community. “Those responsible can end up with criminal records that can affect their opportunities in life.
“There is also the danger that fires like this will spread and cause injury and damage.”
