The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is calling on people to sign up and take part in the Woburn Abbey Jog 2012.
The popular event will take place next Sunday and participants can walk, jog or run once around the 5km circuit or twice to complete 10km. The route meanders through the scenic deer park and leafy woodlands of the spectacular Woburn Abbey grounds.
The jog is now in its sixth successful year and is a family friendly day open to everyone. The event also provides a rare opportunity for participants to get free entry to one of Bedfordshire’s most treasured gardens where there is plenty to see and do.
Rob Cox, BHF Events Organiser, said: “Locals have been continually supportive of this event and we would like to encourage new and past participants to sign up and take part again this year. This jog is the perfect way to help the nation’s heart charity save lives and improve your own heart health – together we can beat heart disease.”
So sign up now to guarantee your place and raise much needed sponsorship for the nation’s heart charity. Entry to the jog is £12 for adults and £6 for children. Alternatively, turn up on the day and pay £20 for an adult and £10 for a child. The entry fee covers the cost of running the event; it is your sponsorship money that will help beat heart disease for good.
