A 23-year-old man was struck by a car when he walking in Banbury yesterday (Tuesday).

A young teenager had his pockets searched by thieves who robbed him as he walked along a city redway.

A small amount of cash was taken from the 15-year-old by three men at Illingworth Place, Oldbrook on Friday evening.

At around 7pm the teen was walking from the direction of Oldbrook towards the H6 when he saw three men walking towards him.

One of the men said ‘hello’ as he walked past, but the other two men stopped the victim and wanted to know what possessions he had with him.

The men raised their fists towards the victim when the victim refused to tell them. They then searched his pockets.

All three offenders are black, possibly Somalian. The first is in his late teens, slim, about 5ft 7ins, with an Afro hairstyle. He was wearing a grey T-shirt.

The second offender has facial hair on top of his chin, curly black hair, and is in his late teens. He was wearing a white T-shirt.

The third offender was wearing a blue Nike jacket with red lettering and a red tick above the writing.
