FRINGE MK is back, this time with their first Pavement and Street Art Festival being housed in Middleton Hall from Monday and resplendent with technical brilliance and live performance art. Optical illusions will make you look, think and look again.
Mexican artist Juandres Vera will showcase the first of four commissions and others to watch for include city-based graffiti guy Meechy, pavement installationist Lulu Allison and members of the pan-European Planet Streetpainting team.

City People at AIM Gallery in thecentre:mk will include a striking three panelled feature by Chris Challans and featuring contributions from members of the public who helped to complete it in vivid colour.
"The completed triptych is bright and humorous and will appeal to adult and child alike," says an AIM insider.
Photographer George Parapadakis will also be involved in this show, with his iconic new city images and city sites from elsewhere in the world.
Fabulous portrait art by celebrated artist David Newens will get its opportunity too, furthermore the man will be at the gallery on Saturday from 10am to sketch visitors in exchange for a donation.
City People by city people and for city people opens today.
The The Things Is (For 3) launches tomorrow at Milton Keynes Gallery.
Sound, performance, sculpture, collage and photography make this a real treat for fans of mixed media.
It is the first solo exhibition by a London-based artist who emerged in the 1990s.
The show apparently 'displays a range of the artist's experiments with systems, geometry, chance and the absurd. Each work opens up a space for the imagination, encouraging varying degrees of interaction and response, inviting the viewer into a playful dialogue with the artist.'
The same, unnamed artist who once travelled to New York, stayed overnight and returned home without uttering a word for the work he calls Went To America Didn't Say A Word.
But what would have happened if he got sick on the journey and suffered an art-attack, perhaps?!
The The Things Is (For 3) shows right through to mid-September and musicians: feel free to have a go – a full set of band equipment is set up and ready to play.
