A BLETCHLEY man has been arrested along with two others on suspicion of conspiring to supply class A drugs.

The 29-year-old was one of three people who were arrested and bailed after eight search warrants were executed at houses in Milton Keynes, Bradford and Leeds.

The arrests come after a police investigation which saw thousands of pounds worth of drugs recovered on a Bradford motorway by officers and detectives from West Yorkshire Police.

The warrants were issued after half a kilo of heroin, with the street value of around £20,000 was found in a car stopped on the M606 travelling from Bradford on July 16.

Last Thursday detectives from West Yorkshire Police’s Crime Division executed the warrants and during searches of two houses in Milton Keynes, five in Bradford and one in Rodley £8,000 in cash was recovered.

A 40-year-old man from Rodley, Leeds and a 40-year-old man from Girlington, Bradford were also arrested and bailed pending further police enquiries.

Now people are being urged by police to report any suspicious, drug-related crimes or activity in and around the city by calling them on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
