Midsummer Place Shopping Centre’s national Street Style campaign is reaching a climax after voters selected their three fashionista finalists; Hannah Boozer, Hollie Dunn and Rachel Skinn.
The campaign launched in early April to find the centre’s most stylish shoppers.
There will be one lucky winner who will be crowned Milton Keynes’ Style Hero, as well as being entered into the national stage of the competition with the chance of winning a £1,000 shopping spree, an Elite Models experience and potentially becoming the face of a national intu campaign.
The centre’s Style Hunters spent three weekends spotting those individuals with inspired, chic style throughout the malls. The 15 weekly candidates were voted for by the public via the centre’s app, on its website and Facebook page.
Martin Hindson, general manager at Midsummer Place Shopping Centre, said: “We’re delighted that the public has chosen three finalists that capture great authentic style and show why the centre is one of the UK’s most fashionable shopping destinations. We wish them all the very best of luck for the final and fingers crossed that the winner will go on to be a bigger fashion success in the national final in May.”
Voting for the final commenced on Monday and is open until 10am on Monday, May 5. The public must vote for the person whose style they admire the most. The Street Style candidate with the most votes will become Milton Keynes’ Ultimate Style Hero and be entered into the national stage of the competition.
The winner will receive a selection of prizes to the value of £250 and two runner-ups will win smaller prizes. There will also be a prize draw for voters; everyone that casts a vote will be automatically entered into a draw to win £100 in vouchers.
The nominated Style Hero of Milton Keynes will compete in the National Style Hero Final with the winners from all 13 intu Shopping Centres across the UK. Voting for the National Style Hero will go live to the public at 10am on Monday, May 5. The person who is voted National Style Hero will be announced on Monday, May 12.
