SIX tiara trekkers have completed a three day trek around the Cotswolds walking a total of 100 kilometres to raise money for MIND and the Child Bereavement Charity.
Their amazing effort has seen them raise a whopping £2,000 to be shared between the two charities.
The tiara trekkers were made up of Kate Jones, Sarah Burke, Pam Moyles, Ella Millerchip, Jackie Goss and Veronique Charlton from Great Horwood. They all had their ups and their downs but enjoyed every second helping to raise money for such worthwhile causes.
MIND is a charity dedicated to helping people with mental health problems and the Child Bereavement Charity supports families and educates professionals both when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement.
Kate Jones, leader of the Diamond Jubilee Tiara Trekkers said: “We are so proud of our achievements and touched by the generosity of strangers who donated over £200 over the weekend. Thank you to everyone who supported us we couldn’t have done it without you”
