THE restoration of a church tower in Bow Brickhill is nearly complete.
All Saints Church has been undergoing regeneration work for several months, with much of the restoration work being carried out by specialist contractors working on the outside of the tower.
However, there is still a great deal that can be done inside the church with the help of volunteers.
Preliminary work has already been carried out after a series of working parties took place during March.
Volunteers working inside the structure are clearing and cleaning the tower, others are repairing stonework and raking out old mortar.
They have been trained in mixing and applying new lime mortar under expert supervision.
