Family of grandfather pay touching tribute after crash in Little Horwood

The family of Peter White, who died from injuries received in a car crash in Little Horwood on Tuesday, have released a touching tribute to the 79-year-old grandfather of one.

It reads: “Our father and grandfather Peter White was involved in a collision on Warren Road near Little Horwood on Tuesday 2nd April 2013. He was driving home after dropping a birthday card off to one of his family in Milton Keynes. Peter was a very kind man who lived for his family.

“He was suddenly and tragically taken away from us, leaving two daughters Janet and Tracey and a granddaughter Chelsey.

“Peter will be sadly missed by all that knew him. The family are asking that if anybody witnessed the collision or has any information that may assist the investigation to contact Thames Valley Police.”

On Tuesday at about 4.50pm the Peugeot 106, driven by Peter was involved in a collision with a Royal Mail Iveco delivery van in Warren Road outside Bacon House Farm.

Peter was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital but died from his injuries on Wednesday.
